I actively involved in developing different strategic approaches for the synthesis of variety of heterocyclic compounds and preparing small molecule inhibitors for various proteins such as kinases, DNA repair and topoisomerase etc. Sharath Kumar has 4 patents for the discovery of novel chemical entities as inhibitors. His findings has a potential to be turned into a novel therapy for control and treatment of cancer, such as SCR7 as a biochemical inhibitor of NHEJ, SCR7 improves CRISPR/Cas9?media
